The SPaCe project researches multimedial solutions to orchestrate surveillance and mobility services. It relies on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to equip operators and transportation authority with instruments for the management of the dynamics of passengers flow.

Il progetto SPaCe propone una soluzione multimodale di orchestrazione di supervisione e mobilità, che utilizza l’AI per fornire agli operatori e alle autorità di trasporto strumenti avanzati di gestione del flusso passeggeri. La soluzione consente di adattare, facilmente e in tempo reale, la loro offerta ai vari requisiti di allontanamento sociale e di raccolta pubblica sorti a causa della pandemia di Covid-19.

Today is the day in which Maria Hafiza Maqsood, PhD student at the RCL group, ends her 1-month secondment at INPE (Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espacial) in the Sao Paulo State!

It was a very inspiring secondment within the ADVANCE project, as it allowed to establish connections between UNIFI and INPE researchers. Thanks Maria and thanks Fatima's group at INPE for hosting!

RCL presented a paper to the IEEE Services Conference - Workshop on Cyber Security and Resilience.

The paper is entitled "An Initial Investigation on Sliding Windows for Anomaly-Based Intrusion Detection", and follows the path about anomaly detection applied to intrusion detection, focusing the attention on sliding window algorithms, which are able to automatically adapt their behavior on the evolving context.
