Professor Andrea Bondavalli had a keynote at the 35th Symposium on Reliable Distributed Systems (SRDS 2016), in Budapest, Hungary.

The talk, "Emergence in Cyber-Physical Systems-of-Systems" reported on the work done within the context of the AMADEOS project. It defined emergence and its basic concepts and mechanisms in the context of Systems of Systems. It presented some examples of emergence in Cyber-Physical Systems of Systems and concluded with some indications on managing detrimental emergence in Critical Systems of Systems.
