Enrico Schiavone was born in Prato (Italy) in 1989. Education and Training In February 2019 he received the Ph.D. defending a Thesis entitled: Design and Evaluation of Multi-Biometric Approaches for Continuous Authentication and Non-Repudiation in Critical Services. Between November 2015 and October 2018 he has been a Ph.D. student of the Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics course (curriculum: Computer Science) at the University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Bondavalli, Dott. Andrea Ceccarelli and co-supervised by Prof. Adriadne M.B.R. Carvalho from University of Campinas (Brazil). He was visiting student at the University of Campinas in 2015 and 2016 for an overall period of six months. He received the Bachelor's degree and the Master's degree (cum laude) in Computer Science from the University of Florence in December 2012 and April 2015, respectively. Research Activity Interests in design, implementation and assessment of secure, dependable and usable systems. Good experience in cybersecurity area, especially continuous authentication, non-repudiation, and biometrics. Good knowledge of blockchain technology. Research Projects -He has been involved in the European funded project FP7-PEOPLE-2013-IRSES DEVASSES - DEsign, Verification and VAlidation of large scale, dynamic Service SystEmS, and in the TOSCA-FI project. He previously participated to the Regional Project POR-CREO 2007-2013 SECURE!. Peer Reviewing He was reviewer for journals as Springer Quality and User Experience and Elsevier Journal of Systems and Software in 2017, and Technical Program Committee Member of ISDDC 2017.He also served as secondary reviewer for DSN - The Annual IEEE/IFIP International Conference on Dependable Systems And Networks - from 2016 to 2018, and for IFIP SEC - The International Conference on ICT Systems Security and Privacy Protection - in 2017. Co-advising and Tutoring Enrico has been co-advisor for the following Bachelor's and Master's Theses advised by Prof. Bondavalli:
In 2015-2016 and in 2018, he was a tutor for the Bachelor's course in Computer Science at the University of Firenze. The goal of the project was to help and support the first-year students in order to reduce their dispersion and simplify their relationships with professors. From January 2014 to March 2015 he was owner of a research collaboration employment (Co.Co.Co.) aimed at defining a protocol, realizing a prototype and conducting experiments regarding biometric continuous authentication mechanisms. | |||
