RCL people have joined the ADVANCE crew in Natal for a project meeting. This was a great opportunity to take part to the LADC conference, which this yeas was colocated with the SBESC meetup.

Many activities were presented and carried on. Noticeably, RCL won two "best paper" awards:

• best research paper, presented by Andrea, and
• best experience report, which was presented by Duccio

Time to celebrate!

Andrea and Tommaso just spent 4 days in Berlin attending to the ISSRE 19 Conference.

It was an interesting meetup and an opportunity to present the paper "Evaluation of Anomaly Detection algorithms made easy with RELOAD", a Tool and Artifacts (TAR) Paper.

Andrea Bondavalli was invited to the Cybersecurity Day to share his personal experience and view on startups. Since he is the co-founder of Resiltech s.r.l, a company that works on V&V of critical systems, he was able to provide the audience with some interesting suggestions and opinions.

The talk was really appreciated, and many attendees asked more details about his experience as both an academic and industrial individual.

RCL welcomes Eldèr Junior, Master student from UNICAMP. Elder comes to UNIFI for 4 months within the ADVANCE project, to sharpen and refine his Master Thesis entitled "Towards a Structured Specification of Coding Conventions". Nice to have you here Elder!

Today is the day in which Maria Hafiza Maqsood, PhD student at the RCL group, ends her 1-month secondment at INPE (Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espacial) in the Sao Paulo State!

It was a very inspiring secondment within the ADVANCE project, as it allowed to establish connections between UNIFI and INPE researchers. Thanks Maria and thanks Fatima's group at INPE for hosting!

First secondment of RCL researchers in Brazil within the ADVANCE project. Andrea arrived in Campinas - SP - to visit UNICAMP, and found some old friends which visited Florence in the past: Leonardo and Thais, which prepared her Master thesis in Florence in 2016 under the supervision of Leonardo Montecchi.

Always nice to enjoy local people and take advantage of Brazilian food and drinks!
